Fairbanks Psychiatric and Neurological Clinic has been providing psychiatric, neurological, and psychotherapy services to the community for over forty years.

We provide assessments and treatment for a broad scope of psychiatric and neurological concerns, for children, adolescents, adults and older adults.

Psychiatric conditions generally present with problems in thinking, feeling emotions, and perceiving, and have biological bases that are not obvious physiological derangements. Laboratory tests and imaging studies are usually normal or have subtle variations. Treatments may include psychotherapy, medications, or referrals for other forms of treatment.

Neurological conditions generally involve either the Central Nervous System (brain and spinal cord), the Peripheral Nervous System (nerves throughout the body and concentrated nerve cell bodies outside of the brain and spinal cord), or both, and have distinctly identifiable pathology, which can affect any of the functions of the nervous system. This is usually determined by laboratory tests, imaging, and a careful neurological exam. Treatments range from medications to referrals for surgery or therapies.
